thank you continental one pass miles...Chloe finally gets to meet the rest of her family
i feel like i'm back working for continental again. with it nearly impossible to actually convert mileage into reward tickets these days, we were all over the place with trying to get a flight booked at the last minute. With a little spontaneity and thanks to reward travelers who changed their schedule, we were able to redeem our miles hop on a flight to pittsburgh with a few hours notice

Sunday, Joey and I were miraculously both off, so we decided to take a spontaneous day trip to beautiful, gorgeous Galveston Island. We took the ferry over to Jamaica beach, where Chloe fit in like a natural ...while somehow I got the covetable duty of helping Joey in his quest to go "seining" for new fish tank creatures. A passing couple inquired about our project and at my request, the husband complied in helping joey on a few rounds before I ultimately got the job(I got the duty of making conversation with the wife while the guys were out - listening to her tell us how she was a girl stuck with a city girl mentailty - bless her heart). Chloe brought back many memories, but the fish ultimately met their demise after a few hours of improper storage and transportation.
